How do you Self Publish a book? A question asked by most unpublished authors. There are a few steps to take to create a high quality book that will not only sell, but will be an accomplishment you can be proud of.
For the highest quality product, your manuscript will require editing, proofreading, typesetting and a professional cover design. These are the basics if you wish to have a professional book to sell. Book promotion to get your book seen is a must, and a website for an online presence will also help to promote you and your book.
Self publishing offers you the freedom to bring your work to life without relying on a traditional publisher. It allows full creative control over content, design, and marketing, while giving you higher royalty rates and quicker publication times. You can connect directly with readers, build your own brand, and make decisions that best suit your vision for your book. We can assist you with self publishing your book, and we are more than happy to help - its all about getting your words out there for everyone to enjoy, or learn from.

Self-Publishing options include a manuscript of up to 105,000 words. Please inquire if your manuscript is more than 105,000 as production costs increase.
*Please Note – Self publishing authors choose their own distribution avenue. The PDF can uploaded to Ingram Spark and/or Amazon. The cover can be set up for Ingram Spark or Amazon Paperback. eBooks can be ePub for Spark and/or ePub for Amazon Kindle. Each format is required to have its own ISBN.
Book Promotion is Optional. Please enquire if you would like book promotion.
Author is to supply ISBNs – one for each format created. These can be obtained online from Thorpe Bowker.

Pack #1
Self-Publishing POD + eBook Publishing
- Manuscript typeset for POD printing
- Proofreading manuscript
- Conversion for ebooks in ePub, which covers most of the ebook readers currently on the market
- Book cover design – 1 cover design Stylish or Superb plus 5 revisions (other cover options are available, however cover price will increase).
Pack #2
Self-Publishing POD + eBook Publishing + Website
- Includes all of Package #1 PLUS
- WordPress website including Home + 5 pages – About, Book, Reviews, Gallery, Contact
- Website hosting with Hostinger + Domain name for 1 year. Author to renew after one year.
- Author provides most of the content.
- Once website is complete, author has access to site admin for adding own information/posts/content.
- Please note that there is a website service available for amendments and/or additions for the ‘not so technical’.
- If illustrations are included in the book, either black and white or colour, or illustrated children’s books, please contact us.
- Please be aware that editing of the manuscript is NOT included in the self publishing options. This can be quoted separately, if you require editing - all manuscripts differ in what is required to bring the book to a high publishing standard.
